What to Do When Your Printer Says Offline
Printer problems are one of the most common small-business tech headaches. Try these simple checks first.
Quick checks
- Restart the printer and the computer that is trying to print.
- Make sure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the computer.
- Check whether the printer has paper, ink or toner, and no visible jam.
- Remove old stuck jobs from the print queue.
- Try printing from another app or another device to narrow down the issue.
When it is probably a setup issue
